Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa is a traditional Chinese natural herbal remedy used to relieve coughs, soothe sore throats, and eliminate phlegm. It is a throat demulcent and expectorant.


Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa is a pleasant tasting natural herbal based liquid especially formulated for relief of minor discomfort and to protect irritated areas in sore mouth and sore throat.

Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa is known by the Chinese as “Pei Pa Koa” which was originated by Nin Jiom of Beijing during the Qing Dynasty. It has been very popular for centuries because of its remarkable effectiveness and pleasant taste.


Pei pa koa is made up of a blend of herbal ingredients including the fritillary bulb, loquat leaf, ladybell root, Indian bread, pomelo peel, Chinese bellflower root, pinellia rhizome, Schisandra seed, Trichosanthes seed, coltsfoot flower, thinleaf milkwort root, bitter apricot kernel, fresh ginger, licorice root, and menthol in a syrup and honey base.


In 1994, the China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine published the article, "Pharmacological studies of nin jiom pei pa koa." The study found that Nin Jiom Pei Pa Koa had a significant effect on relieving coughs, removing sputum, and relieving asthma.
